Bevel is a shaving system geared toward men of color to prevent razor bumps. The brief was to create web banners, a marketing email, landing page banner and another form of advertising for their Valentine’s Day campaign. I was given their brand guidelines and photo assets.
The target audience I chose for the campaign was women buying the products for their significant other. I had the idea to use the Bevel razor as a part of an XO graphic because of the recognizable symbolism and widespread association with Valentine’s Day. I chose to use a soft red as the main color within the design to again instantly remind consumers of Valentine’s Day without losing all the masculinity of the brand.
The email design is intentionally simplistic with the intention to sell to consumers already informed about the product and on their mailing list. I also came up with the concept for a Snapchat advertisement that would include a motion graphic and short video.
At the bottom of the page you can find my pitch presentation deck.
